These Are the Day's of My Life!
Alexis playing dress-up. I moved my cedar chest into the main living room to use as a coffee table instead of continuing to have it be a junk stacker in my room. Alexis figured out how to open it and found my wedding dress, veil and bouquet inside. She went nuts; why keep that kind of stuff if not to ensure sentimental value continues to increase. I can think of no better use for those items then to see them put to good use through my girls. She loved putting everything on and asked about a million questions about my wedding. She pranced around the living room for hours all dressed up and at one point even lay down on top of the chest with a pillow under her head and eyes closed. When I asked her what she was doing she said, " Mom, I am waiting for my prince to come and kiss me awake!" Whew, maybe a few too many fairy tales for us huh!!! Aug 2011Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! And these two are no exception. Alexis and her friend Addy are having a play date today. They got all dressed up and then asked if it was okay to go for a walk. I didn't dare let them out of the house for fear they might be picked up or have an offer made! Sept. 2011
One way or another, she was going to get herself to work with daddy! If the lunch box was her only way...so be it! Now, if she could only find her daddy.
